Look no further!  We guarantee that the best rates for our hotels and resorts can be found on MeritageCollection.com.  You won’t find lower rates for our hotels or resorts on any other hotel booking website that does not require a membership or login (and excluding travel booking sites that withhold the hotel name until after the purchase is completed, as well as search engines).  If you do, we’ll match the rate and give you a $25 resort credit.*

Simply book your reservation at MeritageCollection.com, and if before the first day of your stay with us you find a lower price—specifically, the base rate plus all taxes and fees—available on any third-party hotel booking website (as defined in our Best Rate Guarantee Terms and Conditions.) for the same hotel or resort and for the same date or dates, length of stay, number of guests, room type and refundability terms, we will match that price plus give you a $25 resort credit for your stay.*

Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern our Best Rate Guarantee.

HOW IT WORKS

  1. Go to our website—MeritageCollection.com—and book a stay at one of our hotels or resorts.
  2. If before the first day of your stay with us you find a lower all-in price (base rate plus all taxes and fees) available on any third-party hotel booking website** for the same hotel or resort and for the same date or dates, length of stay, number of guests, room type and refundability terms, send us a claim via email to BestRateClaim@meritagecollection.com.

**For purposes of this Best Rate Guarantee, a “third-party hotel booking website” is a website other than MeritageCollection.com, which: (i) sells stays at one of our Meritage Collection hotels or resorts (listed here) directly to consumers, (ii) identifies the Meritage Collection hotel or resort by name prior to the purchase being completed, (iii) provides the consumer with a reservation confirmation when the consumer completes the reservation on that website, and (iv) does not require a membership or login.  A “third-party hotel booking website” as used herein excludes “opaque”, auction or other travel sites that do not disclose the brand of the hotel or resort until after the purchase has been completed (such as Hotwire and Priceline), as well as online search engines (such as Google and Kayak).

  1. Your email to BestRateClaim@meritagecollection.com must specify the alternative you have identified and the applicable third-party hotel booking website, as well as the Meritage Collection hotel or resort at which you have booked a stay through MeritageCollection.com, your confirmation number, your first and last name, and your phone number.
  2. We must receive your claim via email by the day before the first day of your stay with us.
  3. If we are able to verify that the all-in price (base rate plus all taxes and fees)*** for the alternative identified in your claim would be lower than the all-in price (base rate plus all taxes and fees) for your reservation booked through MeritageCollection.com, we will match the lower all-in price and give you a $25 resort credit for your stay, subject to the additional restrictions noted below.

***If the pricing for the alternative identified in your claim  is in a currency other than U.S. dollars, we will convert the amount to U.S. dollars for purposes of this comparison using the most current foreign exchange rate published by the U.S. Federal Reserve Board (available here: http://www.federalreserve.gov/releases/h10/current/).

  1. Please note that you will still be responsible for all charges for your stay, including all taxes, gratuities, incidental fees and any other charges associated with your stay.
  2. Regardless whether your claim qualifies for this Best Rate Guarantee, we will endeavor to contact you within 24 hours of receiving your claim.

ADDITIONAL RESTRICTIONS

·         Your claim will not qualify for this Best Rate Guarantee if the alternative identified in your claim is any of the following:

Ø  A rate negotiated with the third-party hotel booking website;

Ø  A group, membership, or government rate;

Ø  A booking for 10 or more rooms; or

Ø  A booking made by a travel agent or broker.

·         Limit: One (1) claim under this Best Rate Guarantee per stay booked through MeritageCollection.com.

·         We reserve the right to cancel a previously approved claim if we find that the customer has violated or circumvented these Terms and Conditions, and to reject any future claim under this Best Rate Guarantee from such customer.

ADDITIONAL TERMS

We reserve the right to amend, revise, suspend or discontinue this Best Rate Guarantee at any time without notice.
