Orange County: An International Shopping Destination

While shopping is everywhere these days—from airports to your smartphone—few destinations can boast the quality or quantity of shopping found in Orange County, California. Guests at Balboa Bay Resort in Newport Beach and Paséa Hotel & Spa in Huntington Beach have easy access to true world-class shopping, starting with Pacific City, adjacent to Paséa.

Pacific City, named after the early oceanfront village that later became known as Huntington Beach, embraces the coastal vibe with awesome views from every plaza and patio. With 191,000-square-feet of unique shops, there’s something for everyone. Pacific City also offers a number of restaurants plus Lot 579, an artisanal market with multiple food purveyors for a tasty and one-of-a-kind California experience. Visitors can even design their own popsicle at PopBar, enjoy an evening around the fire pit or watch a movie on the outdoor movie screen.

“A very unique store in Pacific City is Petals and Pop (a florist and Champagne bar)—a wonderful place to sit and have Champagne by the glass,” says Marty Koontz, Paséa’s chef concierge.
