Home to the Pacific Symphony, Pacific Chorale and the Philharmonic Society of Orange County, SCFTA also hosts touring performing artists and companies from around the world.

Book of MormomUpcoming events include the nine-time Tony Award-winning Best Musical “The Book of Mormon,” March 22 through April 3, 2016. The Broadway musical comedy follows the misadventures of a pair of mismatched missionaries in what The New York Times calls “the best musical of the century.”

April 3–10, the world-renowned Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater takes the stage with works drawn from the company’s captivating repertory. The SCFTA calendar is also filled with concerts featuring a variety of celebrated artists, including Lea Salonga April 2, the St. Lawrence String Quartet April 8, and Rhapsody in Blue April 7–10.

Opened in 1986 as the Orange County Performing Arts Center, the center was renamed in 2011 in honor of the extraordinary contributions of the Segerstrom family. Situated on 14 acres, the center includes the Renee and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall, Samueli Theater, Segerstrom Hall, Judy Morr Theater, Lawrence & Kristina Dodge Education Center, an arts plaza and more. Already encompassing the Tony Award-winning South Coast Repertory, the campus is also the future site of the new Orange County Museum of Art and home to the American Ballet Theatre William J. Gillespie Ballet School.
