Celebrations and holidays are a little different this year and this weekend will see less fireworks and block parties than we are used to. So we wanted to share with you how we’re celebrating across our Meritage Collection of hotels, while working closely with our individual county and California State authorities and adhering to strict social distancing and sanitization protocols.
Paséa Hotel & Spa, Huntingtion Beach
Paséa has added “Safe and Sounds” balcony concerts for their guests. Every Friday and Saturday night odd room numbers will enjoy the show at 6 p.m., followed by even room numbers seeing the show at 7 p.m. from their balconies.
Every Friday on the Huntington Beach Pier, Art-A-Faire features more than 50 vendors selling unique, hand-made gifts and crafts. From knitted scarves to turquoise jewelry and surf-related merchandise, you can find something for everyone on your shopping list.
Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa, La Jolla
Estancia will be celebrating tucked inside their lush, sprawling gardens. The Secret Garden Lounge offers celebrated Baja coastal inspired cuisine with a Southern California twist paired with fresh, hand-crafted cocktails, cold beers, and refreshing wine offerings. Relax, dine, and sip under the cool southern California nights.
The live fireworks show may be cancelled, but the Port of San Diego created a TV Show special, Big Bay Boom, to celebrate our nation’s independence with the best of the last 20 years of Fireworks!
Meritage Resort & Spa and Vista Collina Resort, Napa
Our Napa resorts will be celebrating this weekend with launch of Live on the Lawn. Taking place on The Lawn, the spacious outdoor venue adjacent to Vista Collina Resort, Live on the Lawn brings resort guests and the Napa Valley community together with live music, a gourmet food truck, a cocktail bar, wine tastings and more in a sprawling environment every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. On Saturday, the resort will be offering kids crafts and activities as well as a fireworks light display.
