Catch up with your family over drinks and laughter. Don't feel like going out? No problem, here are some holiday cocktail recipes you can make yourselves:
SOFTBALL
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz Monkey 47 Gin
- 1/4 oz St. Germain
- 1/4 oz lavender syrup
- 1/2 oz lemon juice
- 1 oz blood orange juice
- Ginger Ale
- One lemon wheel place inside rock glass with lavender sprig for garnish
Instructions:
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add Gin, St. Germain, lavender syrup and lemon juice
- Cover and shake until mixed and chilled, about 8 and 10 seconds. (in general, the drink is ready by the time the shaker mist up)
- Strain mix into a rock glass filled with ice
- Top it off with ginger ale
- Add the blood orange on top
CRUSHER MULES
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Grey Goose
- 6-8 leaves mint leaves
- 4 blackberries
- 1/2 oz lime
- Top it off with ginger beer
- Mint leaves as a garnish
Instructions:
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle the mint leaves and blackberries. Add ice to the shaker. Add vodka, lime juice.
- Cover and shake until mixed and chilled, about 3 to 5 seconds. (In general, the drink is ready by the time the shaker mists up)
- Open shaker and pour entire mix into a rock glass filled with ice.
- Top it off with ginger beer.
LA MARGHERITA
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Don Julio
- 2 oz strawberry puree
- 1 oz lime Juice
- 1 oz Basil simple syrup
- 4 cherry tomatoes
- Basil salt rim & basil leaf for garnish
Instructions:
- Place 4 cherry tomatoes in a mixing glass. Muddle the tomatoes just enough to break juice, add lime juice, basil syrup, Don Julio and Strawberry Puree. Shake and pour into rocks glass.
- Top with garnish
IL COLLISEUM
Ingredients:
- 2 oz High West Rye
- 1 oz Averna
- 3 dashes of orange bitters
- 1/2 oz Luxardo Marichino
- 1/2 oz brown sugar syrup
- Orange peel to garnish
Directions:
- In a mixing glass, add all ingredients. Stir until frost appears on glass. Strain into a rocks glass with ice.
