2. Napa ARTWalk ‘Sense of Place’
The Napa ARTwalk is a biannual, rotating exhibition of juried sculptures created by artists from the Western US and displayed in Downtown Napa, California. The theme for the sixth Napa ARTWalk Exhibition is ‘Sense of Place’. A jury of arts professionals selected eight sculptures to prompt the contemplation about the symbolic and physical relationship we have to the environment in which we live.
3. Golf
Two picturesque golf courses in Napa Valley, Chardonnay Golf Club and Eagle Vines Golf Club, lie just two miles from The Meritage Resort and Spa. Enjoy 18 holes in the morning and wine tasting by the afternoon, offering the perfect golf vacation for the avid golfer and wine enthusiast. The Guest Services Team at The Meritage Resort and Spa can arrange your tee times, lunch, club rentals and transportation to and from the courses. As a guest of our resort, you are able to reserve tee times at both Napa Valley courses up to 60 days in advance through our Concierge.
4. Napa Valley Gondola
The Napa Valley Gondola sightseeing cruises are perfect for romantic couples or groups up to six. Sip some wine, listen to the songs, and relax. The tours are always private, and while tours are popular for couples, there are tours set up for larger groups. No matter which tour you choose, the gondolier will indulge your senses with a musical and memorable taste of Venice all while touring around Downtown Napa.
5. Hot Air Balloons
Get the bird’s eye view of Napa Valley during the early morning from a beautiful hot-air balloon ride over the vineyards. These once-in-a-lifetime rides are wonderful for weddings, special occasion charters and champagne brunches. 6. Downtown Napa
The city has undergone a renaissance, becoming a world-class destination in its own right. Endless tasting bars let you check out small and large producers before heading up further up the valley.
