If 2020 taught us one thing it's that first responders and healthcare workers are the very definition of heroes. Now, to give back to those who have given us all so much, The Meritage Resort & Spa and Vista Collina Resort in Napa Valley, California are teaming up to help brighten at least one of these first responder's 2021.
Now through Valentine's Day, the two resorts are teaming up to show their gratitude to a first responder or healthcare worker by giving a free wedding to a couple that had to postpone their wedding this past year due to the pandemic.
One extremely lucky and deserving couple will win a dream wedding for up to 100 guests, worth $30,000 in value. According to the two hotels the prize includes two nights for the couple in a luxury suite, and additional nights offered at a discounted rate, based on availability. It also includes discounted room rates for wedding guests, signature event space for ceremony and reception, three Hors d'oeuvres, and a three-course plated dinner. It even includes a three-hour bar stocked with house wines served during dinner and a sparkling wine toast. The prize takes care of all the little details too, including resort-owned tables, Chiavari chairs, linens, glassware, flatware, and votive candles.
The giveaway runs now through Valentine's Day, Feb. 14. The winning couple will be announced on Instagram on Feb. 19. To enter, healthcare workers and/or first responders first must follow @meritageresort and @vistacollina on Instagram. Then, they must create a post and tag their fiancée letting the Meritage team know why they deserve a Napa wedding. Friends and family members may also nominate a couple they believe fit the bill and have earned not only this prize but all the happiness in the world as well.
